Attorney Jonathan Tobin focuses on personal injury and subrogation cases. Prior to coming to Sacks Weston Diamond LLC, Mr. Tobin worked for many years at a prominent insurance defense law firm. His prior experience gives him unique insight as to how insurance companies value their cases. With over a decade worth of legal experience, Mr. Tobin understands how to develop cases in order to maximize the return for his clients in the most effective manner possible. Further, as a trial attorney, Mr. Tobin has extensive court experience, handling matters throughout all facets of the court system with noteworthy results. Some recent results include the following:
- With no offer from Defendant, Plaintiff was awarded over $47,000 from an Arbitration Panel in a case involving a defective sidewalk at Philadelphia International Airport.
- Plaintiff was involved in a motor vehicle accident as a passenger where the car she was riding in was struck by a car that failed to stop for a stop sign. The Defendant decided to take the case to binding arbitration. After hearing from all litigants the Arbitrator awarded Plaintiff over $74,000.
- Plaintiff driver was proceeding through an intersection on a green light when the Defendant driver failed to stop for a red light, striking Plaintiff’s vehicle. A month before trial Defendant ultimately decided to settle for $85,000.
- In a subrogation action, the insured’s temporary roof failed, causing massive water damage inside the home. Faced with going to trial, the Defendant Roofer settled for $71,000.

Mr. Tobin is licensed to practice law in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
EDUCATION
Mr. Tobin obtained his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and his Master’s Degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He then continued on to law school where he obtained his J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
