Sacks Weston Diamond LLC Joins ATACH
In an effort to further the legalization of
medical marijuana in Pennsylvania, our firm is proud to announce that we have recently joined the
American Trade Association of Cannabis and Hemp (ATACH) with Attorney Andrew Sacks acting as our representative. It is an honor
to join the lobbying effort for Pennsylvania approval of medical marijuana.
Mr. Sacks is currently the only attorney to ask the Philadelphia Bar Association
for a legal opinion on how lawyers can represent people violating federal
law. As a result, the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania State Bar Associations
are now issuing a combined opinion on the matter, something that very
rarely occurs for any legal issue.
Pennsylvania's Leading Medical Marijuana Lawyer
Mr. Sacks’ efforts do not stop there. He has also lobbied extensively
with two state senators and ATACH to ensure that lupus is included in
the bill. At present, only Crohn’s and HIV are included, but all
three diseases are recognized as autoimmune efficiency diseases. Mr. Sacks
is also pushing for the inclusion of a section in the bill which might
help the Bar Association to enable lawyers to represent anyone involved
with the implementation of this Bill.
Since joining ATACH weeks ago, Mr. Sacks has been tirelessly working alongside
the organization to achieve new frontiers for medical marijuana in Pennsylvania.
He is the sole lawyer with membership in the coalition and was selected
over many other candidates. (You can read more about his efforts on behalf
