D. Alexander Latanision (Alex) is an associate in the firm's personal
injury group. Mr. Latanision enjoys a reputation as a skilled and energetic
courtroom attorney and a zealous advocate for victims of others' wrongdoing.
Mr. Latanision has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements,
including an individual verdict in excess of $1 million. Recently, he
was featured in the 2016 and 2017 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists.
Alex Latanision graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, where
he was a Schreyer Honors Scholar and earned bachelor degrees in both economics
and philosophy. Thereafter, Mr. Latanision attended law school at Temple
University in Philadelphia, where he was selected for the Law Review,
excelled in Temple’s renowned Integrated Trial Advocacy Program,
and earned the Barrister’s Award for outstanding trial technique.
While in law school, Mr. Latanision worked with the Federal Defender for
the Eastern District of PA, as well as the Defender Association of Philadelphia,
where he received advanced courtroom advocacy training and represented
accused citizens in Philadelphia’s criminal courts. Mr. Latanision
also clerked at one of the preeminent civil rights firms in the United
States and worked on high-profile matters, including a case involving
city law enforcement corruption, which received national media coverage.
Previously, Mr. Latanision worked for a large civil defense firm and regularly
appeared in courts throughout the region to obtain consistent, favorable
results. Having gained substantial experience on the defense side, Mr.
Latanision understands the litigation strategy of insurance adjusters
and defense attorneys. He now uses this knowledge to his advantage in
order to achieve the best possible outcome for the firm's clients.
